Melanie Claassen Haire is a Partner with the firm focusing in the areas of Trust & Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Court Petitions and Probate. Prior to joining the firm, Melanie was an attorney in New York City.

Melanie is from South Africa, was raised in Arkansas and went to law school in New York. She moved to San Diego in 2018. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Melanie has been practicing in the area of trust and estates since 2012. She prides herself on connecting with clients to explain complex legal concepts and processes and provide both emotional and legal support to clients in difficult situations.

Melanie is admitted to practice in California, New York, and Connecticut.
